She married the love of her life, Mr. Robert Duane Teel, on December 12, 1989, in Seoul Korea. Together, they shared a beautiful marriage built on devotion and companionship. She often referred to herself as Mr. Teel's "shadow," faithfully staying by his side, never going to bed until they were both ready to go to bed together, and always waking early to prepare his breakfast and lunch so they could save money for what truly mattered.

She shared her talents as a sous chef at Nami's and worked at several restaurants throughout the Killeen area. Her passion for food later led her to Central Texas College, where she became the headline cook, earning the admiration of students and staff alike.
Beyond the kitchen, she found great joy in gardening and nurturing those around her. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her heart always generous. Though she often said she had no money for herself, she freely gave to anyone in need, especially her family without hesitation or complaint.
Mrs. Teel was a devoted member of Korean Memorial Baptist Church for over ten years, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. She will be remembered for her outgoing and bright personality, her delicious meals, and her unwavering love for her family.
