Funeral services for Mr. Wallace Dimery Jr. 70 of Killeen, TX will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024, 12:00 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church in Killeen, TX. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Mr. Dimery passed away July 22, 2024, in Killeen, TX. He was born November 11, 1953, in Ozona, TX.

REV. WALLACE DIMERY went home to live with our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 22, 2024. He was born on November 11, 1953, in Ozona,Texas to the late Wallace Dimery Sr. and the late Annie Will Fielder. He was the oldest of eight children, Diane Brazzell (Jeff) of Weatherford, TX, Reverend Clark Dimery Sr. (Jeanette) of Augusta, GA, Wilma Rucker of Weatherford, TX, Elsie Porter of Spring, TX, Barbra Dimery of Weatherford, TX, Mark Dimery (Laura) of Midland, TX, Mary Alice Janssens (Erik) of Brackettville, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kil Yop Dimery (Kay) and his father and mother.

Wallace graduated Weatherford High School in Weatherford, Texas, and shortly after, enlisted into the United States Army as an infantryman. He was joined in holy matrimony to Kay Dimery in 1981, during his tour in South Korea and reassigned to Ft. Hood, Texas, shortly after. Wallace completed a tour of Germany and Saudi Arabia, during Desert Storm, and Louisiana. He retired as 1SG in Fort Hood, Texas, after
twenty years of honorable military service in 1995 with a bronze star medal. He then completed his Associates Degree of Applied Science in 1997.

Wallace gave his life to Christ at Westside Baptist Church. In keeping with his faith, he was an active member and ordained minister of Westside Baptist Church (Pastor Hallie Tolbert, Jr.) for over twenty-five years. Reverend Dimery devoted his life to serving God, sharing the gospel with others, and caring for his family. After serving his country, Wallace spent the rest of his life working as a youth pastor, a school bus driver, and a case manager to inmates and youth, until he retired to
care for his late wife.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Jerome Lyles (Rudy) of Dallas, TX; four daughters, Meranda Martin of Oxnard, CA, Jessica Lewis of San Antonio, TX, Elicia Dimery (Frank) of Killeen, TX, and Lourie Booze (Tarik) of Chesapeake, VA; fifteen grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives, friends, and his church family to carry on his legacy
