Memorial service for Ms. Vonaka Linda Smith, 73 of Killeen, TX will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.  Job 13:15

Vonaka Linda Lee Smith left us peacefully on October 24, 2024.  She was Born and Raised in Worcester County Maryland to her proud parents Jerry Van Smith and Daisy Ann Ayers-Smith.

Vonaka lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Vonaka was educated in the schools of Worcester County, Maryland.

Vonaka had several careers throughout her lifetime, began with housekeeping, then she changed profession to support the troops by being a cook in the Dining Facility on base.

Linda was preceded in death by her Parents, beloved sister, Denvera Fooks, whom she missed dearly.

Vonaka is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Michaela Smith (Ricky Sr.) of Killeen Texas.  Sister, Harriet Alberts of Penllyn Pennsylvania. She was a proud grandmother to Rickie Jr (Ciera Smith) Dallas Texas, Ashley Brewington (Tony) and Brittany Smith All of Killeen Texas.  She was also a Great Grandmother to five beautiful great grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews who brought her immense joy and happiness, filling her days with laugher and love, and a host of family and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vonaka's Memory, to honor her legacy of love and kindness.
