Funeral service for Mrs. Virgen Maria Alamo, 51 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Killeen City Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Virgen Maria Alamo was born October 26, 1970, to parents Tomas and Erma Perez in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.

Virgen who loved to be called Mami and Grandma by her children and grandchildren was called home on November 16, 2021 and she became her families Guardian Angel.

Virgen married the love of her life, Joe Alamo on July 19, 2000. Their marriage was so pure, sweet, kind and real like the kind of love you see in a fairytale. Virgen has four children who she referred to as her teddy bear, her butterfly, her boss baby, and her sunshine.  They were the shine to her light and the reason she smiled. She loved her kids dearly and no one could tell her different. Virgen will be remembered by her beautiful smile, her heart of gold, her strong belief in God and as someone who always put others before herself.

Left to cherish her memories: her loving husband of 21 years, Joe Alamo of Copperas Cove, TX; sons, Jose Miguel Corcino, Jr. (Chelsea) of Killeen, TX, and Joshua Michael Corcino (Laken) of Killeen, TX; daughters, Jennifer Corcino of Killeen, TX, and Janitza Kennard (Rodney) of Killeen, TX; brothers, Tomas Perez, Jr. (Carol) of Baytown, TX, and Marco Perez (Kristy) of West Palm Beach, FL; sisters, Sybel Martinez (Wilfredo) of Lampasas, TX, Carla Martinez (Nery) of Copperas Cove, TX, Kendra Medina (Rafael) of Killeen, TX, and Yashira Silie (Benson) of San Diego, CA; twelve beautiful grandbabies and one on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
