Graveside service for Mrs. Vicki Lynn Hatton, 48 of Killeen, TX will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, 9:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Mrs. Vicki Lynn Hatton, 48, of Cherry, IL passed away in the early morning hours of October 13, 2021.
Born June 3, 1973, to James and Carol (Wiltse) Bodnum. Vicki attended grade school in Cherry, Illinois where she went on to graduate from Spring Valley Hall High School. Following school, Vicki met Michael Hatton, a soldier in the United States Army, and the two were married at Fort Polk, LA in 1996. Due to Michael's service, they went on to experience different parts of the country.
The bulk of Vicki Hatton's professional career consisted of the successful managing and launching of many hotels. Her most recent venture was acting Regional Manager for Parkland Ventures, where her tenure surpassed nine years with the company.
Vicki spent most of her waking moments with her family. Those who truly knew Vicki, knew of her passion for extravagant birthday parties and Christmas presents. She devoted her whole life to her children and grandchildren.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Michael Hatton of Killeen, TX; daughters, Alisha (Tommy Seigman) and Cheyene; son, Shaun; granddaughter, Kinsleigh; grandson, Kace; unofficial children, Joshua, Hannah, and Abigail; brothers, James Bodnum, Kenneth (Debra) Bodnum, Rick (Becky) Bodnum, and her aunts Rosemary (Bodnum) Hawkins and Janice (Wiltse) Balma and her uncle Ken Wiltse.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
