Viewing/services for Ms. Verogin Hizon Nabua 78, of Harker Heights, TX will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Verogin "Jean" Hizon Nabua, 78 years of age of Harker Heights, was called back by our Creator peacefully late night of April 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family in Temple, Texas.

Verogin was born April 28, 1943, to Alfredo and Segundina Hizon of Alaminos City, Pangasinan, Philippines. She was an active member of Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ), where she held several offices during her younger years. She was an elementary teacher in the Philippines where she taught for 32 years before migrating to Texas with her family.

She was kind and generous in helping those in need. She loved watching movies and documentaries, planting flowering plants, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four sons and their wives, Jolan (Lorale), Jaime Jr. (Joan), Jeroel (Ela), and Jimson (Janice); her five grandchildren, Justin, Darrien, Jasmine, Jillian, and Jyrello; and her siblings, Joel, and Jessie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jaime M. Nabua, whom she was married to for 46 years; her sister Lydia Johnston, and her brother Leopoldo Hizon.
