Funeral services for Mr. Tionte DeQuarius Reshaun Johnson-Eddings, 28 of Riverside, CA will be held Monday, December 2, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial with military honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.
Tionte DeQuarius Reshaun Johnson-Eddings 28, was born August 04, 1996, to Charlesree Evans and Scotty Eddings (deceased), in Moline, Illinois. He passed away November 12, 2024. He served honorably in the Army May 04, 2015 - May 21,2019 as a 91B. He married Jimyjah Johnson on March 31, 2017. He received his certification in Welding in San Antonio, Tx in 2022. He was a student at Universal Technical Institute where he engaged in Automotive Maintenance and was set to graduate December 06,2024 satisfying his associate degree. He was an entrepreneur providing housing to the community. At the age of 24, he became his boss's landlord. He spent his days mentoring his friends in real estate, engaging in school, Journaling, playing call of duty with his wife and brother, planning to retire his mother and retire himself at the age of 30. He prided himself on being self-made. His hobbies included photography and collecting model cars.
Tionte had an infectious smile. He loved hard and was a protector of his family. He possessed a loving heart. He was reserved but funny around those he loved. He continuously looked for ways to better himself and the lives of those he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Jimyjah Johnson; mother, Charlesree Evans (Rodriquez); grandmother, Sandra E. Johnson Sr., grandfather, Charles Reed (Annie); grandfather Sylvester Eddings (Naura); mother -in-law, Jaime Blackson; brothers, Scottlitre, and Khalil Eddings, sisters Admyar Eddings, Briauna Shelton and Rekayla Evans; brother-in-law, Scott Blackson; sister-in-law, Haiden Blackson; he also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He will be forever missed by everyone who knew him. He was a husband, son, brother, grandson, friend, and hero to those in need.
