Funeral service for Ms. Tamara Shemaiah Rose, 36 of Killeen, Texas will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen. TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Tamara Shemaiah Rose, 36 passed away peacefully on Friday December 30, 2022. She was born January 8, 1986, in Killeen, TX to David C. Rose and Barbara Rose.

Tamara attended Balanced Believer Ministries of Central Texas. She was a 2004 graduate of Shoemaker High School in Killeen, TX, and went on to attended Everest College. She was employed with TRU Homes in Belton, TX.

Tamara truly loved and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed simple pleasures, such as chatting with family and friends and she most of all enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Alaina. She loved animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed her four-legged friends so much that she always referred to them as my boys: Ozzie, Milo, and Scooter. She had a smile that would light up a room and she had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She also enjoyed going to the Gym and Hiking.

Left to cherish her memories: daughter, Alaina Spears; mother, Barbara Rose Jameson (Michael) of Killeen, TX; grandmother, Marie Rose-Davenport of Virginia; father, David Rose (Loraine) of Virginia; sisters, Talisha Rose of Virginia, Robin Rose of Temple, TX, Shanitra Sanford of Houston, TX, Latorisha Rose of Killeen, TX Rihanna Sanford of Killeen, TX, and Aaliyah Sanford of Temple, TX; brothers, Darius Sanford of San Antionio, TX, David Rose Jr., of Virginia, Travis Sanford (Sujin) and their daughter Camilla Sanford of Paris, France; the father of her daughter, Rafael Spears; stepfather Cedric Sanford (Elizabeth) of Temple, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Ruth Quarles, grandfather, Levi Quarles, grandmother Frances Quarles, grandfather Russell Rose, aunt Loraine Tibbs, uncle William Ellis, nephew Eric Quarles, and niece Nikki Quarles.
