Funeral service for Mr. Tamar DeShun Thomas 18 of Colorado Springs, CO will be held Friday, April 8, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas passed away March 22, 2022, in Colorado, Springs, CO.

Tamar Deshun Thomas was born on July 1, 2003, to parents Ocie L. Thomas Jr. and Willie Thomas at Fort Hood, Texas.  He graduated from Ellison High School in May 2021.

Tamar was a loving son and brother. He loved football, gaming, and playing basketball with his best friends, Devin, and Kris. He was a bright light in our lives and will be always in our hearts...Our forever angel looking over us until we meet again.

Tamar's paternal grandfather Ocie L. Thomas, Sr. his maternal grandparents, Willie S. Williams, and Celester Williams preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Ocie L. Thomas Jr. (Kadeejha) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Willie G. Thomas of Killeen, Texas; grandmother, Betty L. Thomas of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; sister, Trevisha N. Williams of Killeen, Texas; and brother, Torre Q. Johnson (Jessica) of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Tamar had three nieces and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, close relatives, and friends who will honor and cherish him in memory.
