Graveside service with military honors for Mr. Stephon Lewis Hodges, 39 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, AL.

With sadness and love, the family of Stephon L. Hodges announced his passing on January 27, 2022, in Killeen, Texas. Stephon was born November 1, 1982, to John W. Hodges and Jewel E. Hodges in Augsburg, Federal Republic of Germany. He was married to Mrs. Crystal Hodges from September 5, 2013, to present.

Stephon joined the US Army and attended basic training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He attended an advanced individual training in communications in Fort Gordon, Georgia. He served as an army training instructor and achieved the rank of Sergeant. Stephon also graduated from Ranger School. His tour of duties includes Germany and one combat tour in Iraq.

Stephon graduated from Faith Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Central Texas College and Texas A&M in Killeen, Texas to pursue a Bachelor of Social Work degree.

Stephon was a devoted husband and an amazing father who always believed in bringing the family together. Stephon could turn a stranger into a friend within minutes of meeting them. He was kind and generous to other people, and always willing to help them. Stephon had a passion for motorcycle riding early on in his adulthood. His hobbies includes; spending time with family, gaming, coaching, joking
and playing basketball.

Stephon is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Crystal C. Hodges; his children, Nevaeh Hodges, Daniel Corporan, Caden Powell, and Stephon Hodges jr.; his parents, John W. Hodges (Mary) and Jewel E. Hodges; his siblings, Jerone Hodges, Jernene Hodges, Stephanie Hodges, Joseph Hodges (Ashley); his grandmother, Golden Tregre; his mother-in-law, Angela Robinson (Johnny); his sister-in-laws, Porscha Graddick and Nashunta Lacey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
