Funeral services for Ms. Skyler Monroe Mills, 24 of Harker Heights, TX will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service (12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Skyler Monroe Mills was born September 5, 1996, to Kelly Marie Marischen. She departed this life on July 31, 2021.

Skyler was indeed larger than life. She found happiness and joy in everything she did. Her family and friends meant everything to her. The unconditional love she had for every child she met was incredible. Skyler loved to travel, see, and experience new places and people. From the time she was little she enjoyed being by the water, the ocean, the lake, the pool, it didn't matter. But we can take comfort knowing Skyler's relationship with God was solid and he has taken her home.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her mother, Kelly Thayer and stepfather Eric Thayer; sister, Alexis Mills; nieces, Leeann Katherine Akui, Joleen McKenna Akui; nephew, Kyrie Leo Cross; and a host of family members and close friends who will miss her dearly.

Preceded in death by her aunt Katherine Rose Marischen.
