Memorial service for Ms. Slivia Pasley 80 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Silvia R. Pasley, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Killeen, TX. She was born on November 25, 1943, to Eloy and Gabina (Zárate) Pérez in Colon, Panama.

Silvia gave her life to Christ at an early age, and she came to Fort Hood, TX, with her family in the 1970's. Silvia was a hard worker and she worked at the PX and for KISD as a bus driver for many years up until her retirement at KISD in 2019. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend who loved shopping and spending time with her family. She always thought about her family and friends and had a loving, giving heart. Her favorite hobbies were to cook, clean, spend time with her grandchildren and watch her Telemundo novelas. Many people knew Silvia as "Néna", especially family and close friends.

She is survived by her six of eight children: Luz Palacios, Eric De-Leon, Jessica Posada, Paul Harris, Pauline Garrett and Sherman Pasley; her sisters, America De Mick, and Delia Pérez Zárate; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives who all loved her so dearly. Silvia had a lifelong legacy of kindness, compassion, wisdom and most importantly of all, faith. She truly believed love was stronger than hate and made sure her family, friends and community felt loved at all times
