Memorial service for Retired SFC Kenneth J. McCall, 64 of Killeen, TX will be held Monday, October 24, 2022, 11:30 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Interment with full military honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

SFC (R) Kenneth J. McCall was born September 4, 1958, in Fort Dix, NJ to parents SMSG Luther Glen McCall and Constance Ann Lacey. He graduated from Hiram Johnson High School in 1976.

SFC (R) McCall enlisted in the military in 1976 and served his country proudly. He served in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, and honorably retired after 18 years of service. His awards and medals include: the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (3rd Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars (BSS), Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award), Kuwait Liberation Medal, and the Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar.

Upon retiring from the military, Kenneth, joined United Defense, now known as BAE Systems, where he had a successful career as a Field Service Principal. He accumulated several awards during his tenure there.

Kenneth J. McCall had many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, cooking, and grilling.  He also had a passion for sports, which included basketball, football, and NASCAR racing.  The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Lakers were his favorite teams. As an avid sports fan, he attended several NBA basketball games and several NASCAR races with his family throughout the years.

Left to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Pearl Elizabeth McCall of Killeen, TX; parents, SMSG Luther Glen McCall, Constance Ann McCall; children, Jare'l McCall, Brittany (SSG James) Real, Jasmine King; brother, SGT Kirk McCall; sister, Glenda (CPL Welby) McCall-Pugh; sisters-in-law, Gloria Moore, Cheryl Moore;  grandchildren, DeAnte' Epps-McCall, Braelynn King-Real, Billie King-Real; nieces, Rachel McCall, LaToya (SFC Corey) Reese, Mariah (SPC Malachi) Jenkins; nephews, Justin McCall, PFC Jonathan McCall, Cameron Pugh; great niece, Tatyanna Reese; great nephew, Cameron Reese; a very close family friend, Teresa Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
