Funeral services for Serenity Concepcion Elaine Baker 14, of Killeen, TX will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Rivers of Living Waters Ministries in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Serenity was born April 22, 2010, in Temple, TX. She passed away March 10, 2025, at Fort Cavazos, TX.

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we celebrate the beautiful life of Serenity Baker, who graced this world on April 22, 2010, in Temple, Texas. Born to Thaddius Baker Sr. and Glenda Jacobs, both of Killeen, Texas, Serenity was a radiant soul who touched the lives of everyone she met.

At the age of 11, Serenity accepted Christ and was baptized at Adam's AME Chapel Church, marking the beginning of a journey that guided her generous heart. She was a student at Roy J. Smith Middle School, where her infectious smile and caring spirit left an unforgettable mark.

Serenity was a self-starter, a go-getter with a natural talent for hairstyling. Inspired by YouTube, she taught herself how to create flawless looks, always perfecting her craft for her closest friends. She had an undeniable passion for music and was the first to challenge anyone to a TikTok dance battle, bringing energy and laughter wherever she went.

One of her famous lines, "Can you send me some money?" was often met with a laugh—because everyone knew Serenity's heart. More often than not, any money she received would be spent on someone else, a testament to her selflessness. She was a fierce protector of her family and friends, always standing up for those she loved with unmatched loyalty. Random texts from her checking in, saying, "Are you okay? Do you need anything? I love you," were just part of who she was—a light in so many lives.

Serenity was the hype man of the family, always uplifting others, making sure they felt loved, valued, and celebrated. She gave love freely and only longed for the same in return, like any teenage girl. Her journey on this earth was far too short, but her impact will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her.

Serenity was preceded in death by her grandfather, Glen Jacobs of Houston, Texas. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory: her maternal grandmother, Concepcion Jacobs, her paternal grandparent Elaine (Novelle) and Harvey Baker, her loving parents Glenda Jacobs and Thaddius Baker Sr., and her siblings Donovan Jacobs, Jacquel Lambert, Anais Baker, Avianna N'gaojia , Thaddius Baker Jr., La'Kei Jacobs, Isiah Baker, Ivan Baker and Boss Hamilton Jr. She will also be deeply missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and a countless number of friends whose lives she touched with her love and light.

Though Serenity's earthly journey has ended, her love, laughter, and spirit will remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will forever be 14, forever loved, and forever missed.
