Funeral service for Mrs. Ruth Marie Rachal 73, of Killeen, TX will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service (12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Ruth Marie Rachal was born October 24, 1950, to parents Augusta and Laura Eggins in Alexandria, Louisiana. Ruth was the youngest of eleven siblings. She passed away March 3, 2024, in Harker Heights, TX.

She retired from AAFES; she was with them for 26 years.

Ruth liked to go shopping and go for walks and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her twins; son, Bob Rachal Jr. and daughter, Rita A. Rachal; son-in-law, Omar Moore Sr., brother, Cleveland Eggins; grandchildren, Christopher, Alicia, Omar Jr. and Anastasia; great-grandchildren, Jacob; all of her nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Augusta and Laura Eggins; husband, Bob Rachal Sr.; brothers, Turner, Ezekiel, Willie-Joseph; and sisters, Annie-Lee, Susie-Mae, Clara, Joanna, Gloria and Cherrie-Ann.
