Funeral service for Ms. Ruby Nell Lockhart, 75 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, 12:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.  Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Ms. Lockhart passed away August 5, 2021 in Temple, TX.

Ruby Nell Lockhart was born August 7. 1945 in Utica, Mississippi to the late Amanda and Jessie 'Jack' Cessna.  She was baptized at an early age at New Popular Grove Independent Methodist Church.  Ruby was educated in the Hinds County school system and later dedicated years of service to the Killeen Police Department, and 31 years to Civil Service.

Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willie H. Lockhart (Bill).  Her parents, Amanda and Jessie 'Jack' Cessna.  Sister Hattie M. Lewis, brothers Melvin Sisney Sr. and James Cessna Sr.  Brother-in-laws, Anderson White Sr., Eugene Lockhart Sr., Levi Lockhart, John L., Albert Lockhart.  Sister-in-laws, Gracie Evans, Leora Beasley, Erma Jean Ryan, Hazel Jeanette Shepard, Essie M. Watson.  Niece Cynthia Moore, nephew Larry Hargrove.

To cherish her memories of love and life she leaves her sons, Gregg A. and Toby D. Lockhart (Danielle), daughter Tiffany, all of Killeen, TX.  Brother, John H. Cessna Sr. (Elaine), and Sister, Odia M. White, all of Utica, Mississippi. Brother-in-law, Henry Watson (Essie M. Watson) of Houston, and Sister-in-law Lena Lockhart (Eugene Lockhart Sr.), Curtis and Dorothy Lockhart all of Crockett, TX.

Grandchildren: Aliyah Jackson (Donald), Trey, DeMarcus, Ryan, Kennedi, and Landon Lockhart. Cameron Haley, Dylan and Dallas Thomas.
