Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Lewis Jones Jr., 55 of Killeen, TX will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at Anderson Chapel AME Church in Killeen, TX. Burial with military honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Ronald was born March 9, 1970, in Gilmer, Texas to Minnie Blount and Ronald L. Jones, Sr. He departed this life on February 6, 2026.

His family's relocation brought them to Killeen, Texas whereas a child Ronald attended Manor Middle School, and Killeen High School, taking part in various educational activities.

Ronald enlisted in the United States Army on October 2, 1997. He worked as an Automated Logistical Specialist for over 9 years, earning numerous decorations and awards. Upon separating from the service, he attended Prairie View A&M, Central Texas College and Fayetteville Technical College where he received a Culinary Degree, becoming a Chef.

Ronald joined Anderson Chapel AME Church as a child, being active in the church. He later joined Tabernacle of Praise and Worship Center and served as a devoted member until the end of his life.

Ronald was preceded in death by: grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Williams, and Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Jones; Father, Ronald L. Jones, Sr.; Brother, Rudiger L. Jones; and Stepfather, Robert L. Blount.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother, Minnie L. Blount; Children, Trianna Jones, Xaria Jones and Ronald L. Jones III, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
