Memorial Birthday Celebration for Ms. Romnia Eugenia Hill, 57 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, 3:30 p.m. at the Lions Club Park at the Lou Hansen Pavilion. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Ms. Hill passed away April 6, 2023, in Temple, Texas.

Romnia Eugenia "Gina" Hill was born to Gwendolyn Hill and Theodore Anderson on April 10, 1965, in Lester, West Virginia. Throughout her childhood she lived in many different places traveling with her stepfather while he was in the Air Force. Most of her summers were spent in West Virginia at her grandfather's house with her three sisters.

In 1989 Gina married Keith McCauley and one child was produced from their union, Mahogany. Even though she only had one biological child, she adopted and cared for all children she encountered. After 14 years of marriage Keith and Gina decided to part ways but remained close friends. Sometime later Gina began a relationship with and became engaged to Earnest Peterson and remained with him until her passing, spanning 20+ years.

Gina loved having fun doing outdoor activities, watching movies, traveling, or listening to music. If there was a celebration of any kind she was in attendance. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Brady Hill, grandmother Mattie Raye Hill, mother Gwendolyn Davis, and stepfather Jerry Turner.

Gina leaves to cherish her memories, fiancée Earnest Peterson; daughter Mahogany Woods (Cortlin); three sisters Chandra "Lynn" Dillard (Alvin), Mattie Hill (Edward), and Geri Lake; and four grandchildren, Journee Woods, Serenitee Woods, Cortlin "Boobie" Woods, and Aiden Henry. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family in love and friends.
