Funeral service for Mr. Rodney Mark Johnson, 57 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery in Copperas Cove, TX.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Rodney Mark Johnson was born in Somers Point, New Jersey on June 20, 1967. He graduated from Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, New Jersey 1985.  Mr. Johnson passed away May 5, 2025, in Killeen, TX.

Upon graduation, he entered the United States Army.  After his military discharge he returned to Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Rodney worked for various employers throughout his life, including Atlantic County Probation Department, Atlantic City, NJ, Copperas Cove ISD, Copperas Cove, TX, for several years and H-E-B plus, Copperas Cove TX.

In April 1995, Rodney relocated to Copperas Cove, Tx with his mother, to be closer to family. In 1999 he met the love of his life and companion Vicky. Together they started their beautiful journey of twenty-six years of a committed relationship and marriage. Rodney loved music and movies and especially the New York Giants football.  His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched. He was a cherished member of this community, remembered for his warmth, integrity, and unwavering kindness.

Left to cherish his memories are: his wife, Vicky Flores of Copperas Cove, TX; daughter, Megan Falgout of Grand Parrie TX; son, Marshall Falgout of Copperas Cove, TX; sister, Marcia Johnson (Eric) of Copperas Cove, TX; brothers, David Johnson (Mary) of Rockwall, TX and Bruce Johnson (Stella) of Absecon, NJ; mother-in-law, Jumnong Flores of Killeen, TX; sister-in-law, Vira Flores-Haplin (Brian); brother-in-law, Richard Flores (Sandra); grandchildren, Jayden "Lil Man" Falgout, Alicia "Pretty Girl" Pardes and a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind close special friends he has met throughout his life: Donald Tillman Jr. of Copperas Cove, TX, Maxine Smith of Houston, TX, Henry Andrews of Copperas Cove, TX, and Nina Corbitt of New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty V, Berryman; father, Herman Eugene Johnson II; sister, Gwen Wilson; brothers, Michael Johnson, Herman Eugene Johnson III, Steven Johnson, Craig Johnson; and childhood friend, Archie Carmen Riddick.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, Pop-Pop, and friend.
