Robert Lee Hill Jr., age 70, of Buda, Texas, transitioned from this life on January 1, 2026. He was born October 19, 1955, to Robert Lee Hill Sr. and Eddie Royston Hill.

Robert was deeply devoted to his family and to their well-being. He lived what he believed. His life reflected faith, steadiness, and service.

Robert was the first baby of the fourth-generation of the Royston family. He was nicknamed Sanka Baby. He attended Buda Elementary, Hays Middle School and Hays High School, graduating as the salutatorian from Hays High School. He was also listed as highest ranking senior in the American High School Honors Society for Hays Independent School District.  He served as the  CEO at his firm, A-T Consulting LLC.

Robert was a proud alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a degree in architecture. He practiced his craft for approximately years including twenty-five with Page Think until he retired in 2023. He built with excellence, but more than that, he built trust. People could rely on his word, his work ethic, and his quiet follow-through.

Robert was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Until his illness, he remained active in Sunday School, the Ministry of Presence, and the Church Building Committee. If you knew him, you likely have a 'Robert' story. A steady word. A quiet act of kindness. A laugh you can still hear.

Robert is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jeanette Watson Hill. He is also survived by his mother, Eddie Royston Hill,  his children, Robert Lee Hill III, Kyndal Hill Banks (Ledarius) , Christy Spiller (Billy), and Tomia Camille Bushner. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael Hill and Vastine Hill, and by his grandchildren, Jamari Hughes, Kynsley Banks, Amaya Hill, Tevin Dillard, Tajanaye Spiller, Trejon Spiller, great grandchildren Ja'Niyah and Massyah Dillard as well as a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Hill Sr., and brother, Jimmie Hill (Toni).

The family holds dear the special friendships of Elliott and Brenda Burrell, and Kearie and Ann Franklin, for their love and support during this time. The family also extends heartfelt gratitude to Beacon Hospice and staff for the attention and care Robert received.
