Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Earl Bowie, 55 of Killeen, TX. will be held Jan 8, 2022, 11:00 am located at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Chruch, 715 S. Mel Waiters Way, San Antonio, TX. 78203. Burial will follow the service at Meadow Lawn Cemetery, in San Antonio, TX.

Viewing will be two hours (9:00 am - 11:00am), prior to the service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, San Antonio, TX.

Mr. Bowie passed away Dec 26, 2021, in Dallas, TX.

Robert Earl Bowie the second child of Fred and Bobbie Bowie was born April 04, 1966, in San Antonio, Texas. At an early age he confessed Christ as his Savior at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.

Robert graduated from Ellison High School and the University of North Texas State. Following college, Robert relocated to Dallas, Texas to begin his career. He was a member if the First Baptist Church in Hamilton Park in Richardson, Texas. Robert was a member of the Men's Choir.

Robert worked several years with CompuCom Computer Company. Robert was passionate about creativity, using his imagination, being inspired and inspiring other through his art. This passion led to him being commissioned by individuals to create artwork unique to their request.

If you were around Robert for any length of time, you knew of his love for music and singing. As a young boy during playtime with his cousins, he would want to have a talent show. You see, this provided him the perfect opportunity to remind them who had the vocal talent among his cousins. This would often lead to amusement. His infectious laugh and smile will surely be missed.

His brother Samuel Charles Bowie, grandfather, Deacon Roy Anthony, grandmothers, Mrs. Leo Anthony, and Mrs. Nicey Lee Hockley, and godfather, McIntyre preceded him in death.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents: Fred Robert and Bobbie Bowie of Killeen, TX; sister, Estelle Alexander (Leon), one niece, Erika Alexander, one nephew Leon LaCaruis Alexander all of Quincy, Florida; aunts, Janice Gee and Annette Hemphill (Joe), one uncle, Willie George Anthony Ruby), godmother, Mrs. Alberta McIntyre Stewart all of San Antonio, Texas and a host of devoted cousins and friends.
