Memorial service for Mr. Rhett Weston Jones Sr., 72 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, August 1, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Mr. Jones passed away July 19, 2025, in Killeen, TX. He was born September 7, 1952, in Panama City, Panama.

We are here to celebrate the life of Rhett Weston Jones Sr., Born in Panama City, Panama to Cyril Evans Jones and Annrob Daley on September 7, 1952. Rhett was one of eleven children.

Rhett is survived by his two children Keysha and Rhett Jr., His grandchildren Kaliyah, Keyleen, Weston, Kevin and Taylor and great grandchild Kiamani and his siblings Verna, Cyril, Cornell, Reynaldo and Giselle, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Rhett is predeceased by his parents Annrob, Cyril Sr., his siblings Calvin, Eddie, Rupert, Patsy and Leandro.

Rhett graduated from Practica de Comercio with an emphasis on accounting and bookkeeping. He migrated from Panama to the United States in April 1977, initially residing in Brooklyn, New York for ten years before relocating to San Diego, California in 1985, where he spent 33 years. He later moved to Killeen, Texas where he lived for the last seven years. While in San Diego, he became a member of Bayview Baptist Church. After 18 years, Rhett retired from Kaiser Permanente.

Known for his warmth and generosity, Rhett was loved by everyone he encountered and made friends with effortlessly. He had a passion for horse racing, bird watching, reggae music and doing his two steps. He also loved his dogs Kently and Koko.
