Graveside service with full military honors for Retired SSG Theodore Cook, Jr., 77 of Waco, TX will be held Monday, October 3, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Mr. Cook passed away September 21, 2022, in Austin, TX.

Retired SSG Theodore Cook, Jr. was born November 20, 1944, in Mobile Alabama. He departed this life to eternity on September 21, 2022. He was the first born of six children born to parents, Theodore Cook, Sr., and Mattie Mae Cook.

Theodore graduated from St. Elmo High School in 1963. He was a member of St. Joseph Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Barbara J. Cook of Waco, TX; stepsons, Jarvis Manning (Dawn) of Killeen, TX, Carnealus Manning (Pricillia) of Denver, CO; brother, James Cook (Debra); sisters, Diane Cook, and Linda Cook; nieces, Brittany Cook, Whitney Washington (Kenny), Kendra Cook; nephews, Kiwain Cook, Aaron Cook, Rodrick Cook, and Julius Cook, Jr.; step-family, Corey Long, Victoria James, Katonya Tate, Felicia Pullman, Philip Drakes; step[1]grandchildren, Aspen Anderson, Jordan Goode, Phillip Carpenter, Jr., Allendra Carpenter, Kiera Carpenter, Elija Crocket, Richard Pullium, III, Naje Drakes, Semia Drakes, London Drakes, Noah Drakes, Nazir Drakes; great grandchild, Majesti Carpenter; twenty six grandchildren; devoted friends, Walter Talley of Aberdeen, MS, Bobbie Latchison, and Romonita (Monica) of Woodway, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore Cook, Sr., and Mattie Mae Cook; his two brothers, Johnny Cook and Julius Cook, Sr.
