Obituary

A Celebration of Steven's Life is being planned and more information will follow.

Steven was born in Abington, PA on March 31, 1972, to his parents, Gerald, and Nancy. He passed away March 31, 2024, in Harker Heights, TX.

Steven moved with his family, to the Mojave Desert of California when he was a small child. He grew up wandering the Gem Hills of the Antelope Valley, where he found his love for the outdoors.

After graduating high school, Steven joined the Army and spent over 16 years serving his country on active duty and in the reserves. He completed numerous tours abroad. He was proud to have served and would tell anyone "I wasn't done."

Through the years, after leaving the Army, Steven's greatest joy was spending time with his children and exploring all life had to offer. He volunteered many years with the Boy Scouts in various capacities, most notably as Scoutmaster of several troops.

Steven and his wife, Page, reunited in 2010 and were married in 2011. They spent the next several years in Cheyenne, WY and Golden, CO, finally settling in Central Texas.

Steven is survived by his wife, Page Cobble, his father and step-mother, Gerald and Marilu Cobble, his daughter, Sierra Welty and her husband Max and their son, Oakland, his son Matthew Cobble and his fiancé, Trinity Morin, his brother Randy Cobble and his brother David Cobble and his wife, Lori, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends around the world.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made, in Steven's name, to the Veteran's Charity of your choice.
