Visitation service for Retired SSG Seth Allen Brown, 66 of Killeen, TX will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Inurnment With Full Military Honors will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen ,TX.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we come together to say goodbye to Staff Sergeant Seth A. Brown, who transitioned from this life on April 21, 2025.

In his final moments, his beloved wife, Ute E. Brown, held his hand tenderly until his heartbeat for the very last time. His son, Christopher J. Brown, stood silently in prayer, lifting up his father's soul in love and reverence. SSG Seth A. Brown was a man of honor, duty, and unwavering devotion — not only to his country but most especially to his family. He was a loving and faithful husband to Ute E. Brown for 40 beautiful years. Their love story began across the sea, in Hanau, Germany, in 1983. Two young hearts met by chance yet destined by God to walk together. They were married on June 5, 1985, pledging their lives to one another in a bond that would endure through every joy and every storm.

Together, Seth and Ute built a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. Their union was blessed with the gift of four wonderful children through adoption:
Christopher J. Brown in November 1990
Seth R. Brown in 1992
Dea J. Brown in 1995
and Yasmine Brown in 1996

Seth embraced fatherhood with a full heart. He was a steady presence, a strong foundation, and a guiding light for each of his children. He taught them integrity, perseverance, and the power of unconditional love.

To know Seth was to witness a man who truly lived his faith — through quiet strength, tender acts of kindness, and an enduring commitment to those he loved.

As we reflect on his life today, we turn to the comforting words of Scripture:

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
— 2 Timothy 4:7

Indeed, Seth fought the good fight — not only as a soldier but as a man of faith, a husband, a father, a friend. He finished his race with honor and dignity, surrounded by those who loved him most.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
— Psalm 34:18

Even in our sorrow, we trust that Seth's spirit has found peace and that the Lord is near to us in our grief. We remember the promises of God:

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
— Revelation 21:4

Today, we mourn the loss of a remarkable man, but we also celebrate the life he lived — a life marked by love, service, and deep faith. Though we feel the sting of his absence, we rejoice knowing that Seth is now resting in the eternal embrace of his Heavenly Father, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him, and forever held in God's everlasting arms.

Left Behind to cherish his memory – wife, Ute E. Brown; children, Diana, Christopher J. Brown, Seth R. Brown, Dea Brown, Yasmine Harvey Brown; grandchildren, Aaliyah Brown, Ezekiel Brown -Kassandra & Deondra Creighton; great grandchild, Ande' Tolliver; sister, Tonya Munnerlyn; a host of many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and friends.
