"Bobby" as he was called by his family and friends was the best of sons. He made his parents very proud. He followed his father's footsteps - joined the Army and made a career of service to his Nation. He was a man of good actions, a caring person, and a loving father and grandfather. His family was his pride and joy after retiring from the Armed Forces. Bobby will be greatly missed by all – his friends, his aunts, his uncles, and cousins. He was the pride and joy of the Ruiz Family.
Roberto is survived by his wife, Taniuska Flores; his son, Alec Ruiz; his daughter, Angie Ruiz; two granddaughters, Annalicia and Layla Jane; parents, Tomas and Blanca Ruiz. Roberto was an exemplary brother to his siblings Linda, Anthony, and Ruby Ann. He will be deeply missed by his family.
He is preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth.
Bobby now leaves this earthly life in order to be a part of the spiritual universe. There he will rest peacefully with those who have loved him deeply and next to them, he will continue to watch over us and protect us from harm. May he rest in peace.
