Visitation for Retired SFC Robert Charles Jackson 74 of Kempner, TX will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Graveside Inurnment with Full Military Honors will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

SFC Robert Charles Jackson, born on September 2, 1949, in Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on August 4, 2024, in Copperas Cove, Texas. He was 74 years old.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army for 20 years, during which time he traveled to various parts of the world and held many titles. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he dedicated his life to the military and, upon retiring, focused on educating future military members, sharing his vast knowledge and experience.

An avid bike rider, scuba diver, fisherman, and hunter, Robert lived life to the fullest. He was a man of many qualities: hardworking, family-loving,
adventurous, and possessed a remarkable sense of humor. His dedication to his family and his country leaves a lasting legacy that will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Mr. Robert Jackson is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Jackson; his daughter, Alexa Archuleta, and her two sons, Elliott (6) and Gavin (2); his son, Alex Martinez, and his wife, Christina , and their three children, Andres (14), Aiden (11), and Elena (6); his son, Jorge Martinez, and his wife, Crystal, and their two children, Kali (17) and Kash (12); and his daughter, Margarita Martinez, and her husband, Juan Ortiz, and their two children, Iliana (18) and Romeo (11).

He will be deeply missed.
