Funeral services for Retired SFC Pastor James Eric Williams, 51 of San Antionio, TX will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Christian House of Prayer in Killeen, TX. Burial with full military honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

As the Word of God speaks to us, it declares that with all our getting, get an understanding. Therefore, we understand that there is a time to be born. God graced Samuel and Emma Jean Williams, on July 9, 1970, in Americus, Georgia with the gift of James Eric Williams. As we also understand that after living in this life, the scripture says there is a time to die. Pastor James Eric Williams transitioned from earth to glory to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 9, 2022.

As the word of God says, in James 1:17, "Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light".

In August 2004, James met one of those gifts given from God to his life. He met his queen, Pastor Gigi Williams. After a year of courtship, they were joined in Holy Matrimony on August 9, 2005, in Seoul Korea. For 16 years, he was happily married to his "Prime Rib and Favorite Sheep" until his transition to Glory.

Together they are blessed with five sons, Marcus, Sanders (Ceciley), Honolulu, HI; Marquis Sanders (Victoria), Fort Hood, TX; Savon Williams, Fayetteville, AR; Jaylen Williams, Albany, GA; and D'andre Williams, San Antonio, TX. His beautiful daughters, Faith Jackson, Savannah, GA; Tytianna Williams, Americus, GA; and Shavonne Cole, Champaign, IL. Grandsuggahs, Noah and Londyn Duffie; Troy, Ariel and Astrea Sanders.

He is survived by his brothers, Samuel Williams, Jr. (Jackie), Stacey Williams and Alvin Williams, Americus, GA. Stephanie Williams, his beloved niece. Mother-in-love, Brenda Simpson, Lexington, SC. Pastor James Eric Williams was blessed with a host of family members, friends, church members, spiritual sons, spiritual daughters, spiritual nephews, spiritual nieces and thousands of brothers and sisters in Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Williams, Sr; mother, Emma Jean Williams; brother, Joel Williams, and daughter Markecia Sanders.

After Serving 24 years in the United States Army, he retired in 2015 on the USS Missouri, Pearl Harbor, HI. His military career spanned from duty locations in Fort Stewart and Fort Benning, GA; Germany, Fort Lee, VA, Yongsan, South Korea and Schofield Barracks, HI. He served in two war campaigns, Somalia, and Iraq. His military awards include Meritorious Service Medal (2ND Award), Army Commendation Medal (7th Award), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (5th Award), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service  Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal (AFSM), Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (3rd Award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award), NATO Medal, UN Medal, Driver and Mechanic Badge-Mechanic and Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge with Rifle Bar.

Pastor Williams is a graduate of Liberty University. In July of 2017, he received his doctoral degree from the Christian Bible Institute in Houston, Texas. His proudest accomplishment was graduating from Sonship School of the Firstborn, Class of 2009, Christian House of Prayer, Killeen, TX.

Pastor James had an encounter with the Lord in Seoul, South Korea and was born into the Body of Christ in 2004. His motivation, ability to teach the living Word of God and bible-inspired way of ministering the Gospel to God's people captivated people of all ages. He served faithfully at the South Post Chapel, Yongsan, South Korea as a member of the Gospeleers Choir, Men's Choir and Bible Study Teacher. Pastor Williams served as the interim Pastor of Life More Abundantly International Church, Seoul, South Korea. In 2009, he founded Life More Abundantly Island Church on the island of O'ahu in Hawaii. In December of 2021, he relocated to San Antonio, Texas to launch The Love Church-San Antonio. The Sonship School of the Firstborn in Hawaii graduated ten classes.

He boldly ministered the Word of God in Mosul, Iraq; Seoul, South Korea; Beijing, China, and the United States. His love for God illuminated and radiated with an Agape' love for God's people. It enthralled those saved and unsaved to thirst for the Word of God! He is known as the preacher that did not "sugarcoat or water down God's Word, "he preached to save souls for the Kingdom, he was a man of FAITH and PRAYER.
