Funeral service for Retired MSG Albert James Flakes, Sr., 78 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Christian House of Prayer the Copperas Cove Campus in Copperas Cove, Texas. Burial with full military honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) at the church.

Mr. Flakes passed away July 12, 2026, in Killeen, TX. He was born October 2, 1947, in Omaha, NE.
