Funeral services for Retired MAJ John Wesley Tarver Jr., 75 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Vision Community Church in Killeen, TX. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) at the church.

John W. Tarver Jr., passed away on October 24, 2024. He was born in Blythedale, Pennsylvania, on September 21, 1949. John enlisted in the
U.S. Army on June 30, 1969 and retired as Major in 1992. John graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in Psychology in 1995. He was married to Judith Tarver on May 20, 1981, and is survived by her, and their sons, John W. Tarver III and Donald H. Tarver.
