Visitation for Retired SFC Howard Eugene Duncan, Sr. 56, of Harker Heights, Texas will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas. Burial with full military honors will be held in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Duncan passed away August 17, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on August 6, 1968, in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Howard Duncan Sr.  Was dedicated to the military for over 20 years. To further his career, he pursued another military assignment soon after retirement, but he decided he had done enough. Once his freedom became the norm, he joined a pool league at De Ja Vu in Harker Heights, Texas. He was passionate about leadership, so he took on several pool teams. He would dedicate his level of skills to teaching others how to be great, but he was always the best. Competing in competitions in Vegas for tournaments and spending time with family is what he enjoyed the most.

Howard loved taking care of his children and his spouse as well as his two dogs Cherry and Tiny. He would go fishing with his late father-in-law Retired Sgt. Douglas J. Woods who passed two years ago and his close friends in his free time. Always dedicated his time to others and being a helping hand for anyone in need. Howard was a great leader, creative thinker, everyone's handyman, dancer, husband, father, and a true friend. We are truly going to miss Howard and all his contagious laughs full of crazy jokes because they were truly contagious!

He will also be dearly missed by many cousins, great-nieces and nephews.
