Burial with full military honors for Retired SFC Ezra Atheling Penn, 95 of Harker Heights, TX will be held Friday, October 27, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. A memorial will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Retired SFC Ezra A. Penn, 95 died on October 12, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born on October 8, 1928, to Joseph and Emeleta Penn of Tortola US Virgin Islands. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Eda and Clarice.

Ezra served 22 years in the United States Army with tours of duty in Vietnam, Korea, and Germany. His final duty station was Fort Hood, Texas. His favorite things to do were being outdoors, yard work, and watching westerns.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife of 68 years, Lillie M. Penn of Harker Heights, TX ; two children, Cynthia (Lester), and Gregory of Harker Heights, TX; two children from a previous marriage, Louis, and Janis Penn; grandchildren, Nakia (Sonya), Miracle, Khlaleesi, Asher, Armond, Merci, Mesaya, Anson, Marcellous (Maria), Alina, and Zania; nephew, David (Yvonne); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
