Graveside service with full military honors for Retired SFC Ervin George Exferd 67 of killeen,TX will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, 9:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Mr. Exferd passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Advent Health Hospital Central Texas. He was born January 26, 1956, in Oconto, WI to Milton Exferd and Virginia Smet Exferd.

He graduated from Oconto High School in 1974. Ervin joined the United State Army in August 1978 as a food service specialist. He retired honorably in August 2002. He served several tours in Germany. He was stationed at Ft. Jackson, SC, Ft. Campbell, KY, and Ft. Hood, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Virginia Exferd of Oconto, WI; wife Patricia Exferd of Killeen, TX; stepdaughter Barbara Bozeman of Copperas Cove, TX; brother-in-law's Wayne Nichols and Virgil Longsine.

He is survived by: son, Tim Exferd of Greenbay, WI; grandchildren, Tyler Exferd (Courtney) of Green Bay, WI, Shannon Exferd of Green Bay, WI, Jasmine Exferd of Green Bay, WI, Richard Bozeman of Clinton, IA, Oliver Bozeman of NAS Pt. Mugu, CA, Christopher Bozeman of Killeen, TX; sisters, Mary Ann Nichols of Oconto, WI, Stella Primley (Robert) of Menominee, MI, Rita Huth (Michael) of Green Bay, WI, Diane Longsine of Marinette, WI; brothers, Gil Exferd (Tammy) of Oconto, WI, Norbert Exferd (Patti) of Oconto, WI; son-in-law, and Drew Bozeman of Killeen, TX.
