Funeral service for retired SRA E-4 Alexandria Nicole Patterson will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, 12:30 p.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen, TX. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX at 2:00 p.m.
Ms. Patterson passed away on January 9, 2026, at a Killeen nursing home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 5, 1981, in Killeen, TX, to Aubrey and Mary (Dawson) Patterson, Alexandria answered the call to serve her country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. Her first duty station was at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England, she loved being stationed there and loved to go exploring every weekend. Throughout her distinguished military career, she served with dedication, integrity, and pride. In recognition of her faithful and honorable service, she received numerous commendations, including the Air Force Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Award with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border, and the Air Force Longevity Service Award with two Oak Leaf Clusters. Her service reflected a deep commitment to duty and country, values she carried throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Patterson, and grandmother, Annie Watson.
Alexandria is lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Rhodes; her aunt, Joyce Turner; her uncle, Calvin Turner; her cherished "grandmother in love," Ethel Chambers; her stepmother, Mary Patterson; her sister, Andrea Patterson; and her cousins, Justin Turner, Lauren Grafton, and Matt Grafton.
