Visitation service for Retired SFC Calvin Laverne Crosby, of Killeen, TX will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022, 1:00 p.m.at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial with full military honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Calvin L. Crosby, died on October 7, 2022, at his place of residence at the age of sixty-four. He was born March 14, 1958, in Muskegon, Michigan, to the union of Viola Crosby and Hollis Allen. He was the fifth of nine children.

Calvin L. Crosby moved to Los Angeles, California in 1965 at the age of 7 years old where he lived until 1972 when he moved back to Muskegon, MI and from there he enlisted and served in the United States Army until he retired in 1995. He served as a loyal member in the Masonic Community as well as being a VFW lifetime member.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Jennifer Crosby of Killen, Texas, his sons, Calvin Jr. Crosby, Patrick Crosby, Roderick Degrate (Kancey), Jadon Degrate, Marcus Degrate all of Killeen, Texas, his daughters, Sheba Crosby-George (Kevin) of Atlanta Georgia, Cyntell Crosby-Cook (Jeremiah), Shawntea Degrate, and Isabella Lovell-Crosby all of Killeen, Texas, sister Beverly Crosby of Killeen, Texas, Leo Crosby of Muskegon, MI and Michael Crosby of Ione, California, grandchildren, Darron and Tayshon of Atlanta Georgia, Ava, Liliana, and Layla all of Killen, Texas, very special friend/brother Keith McMurray and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Calvin L. Crosby was preceded in death by Adeline Turner (grandmother), Viola Crosby (mother), sister Clara Richards, and four brothers James, Hollis, Freddie, and Lorenzo.
