Funeral service for Retired MSG Alexander Byrd 72, of Harker Heights, Texas will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, 12:00 noon at Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, Texas. Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon) at the church.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church in Lamar, SC. Burial with full military honors will immediatly follow the viewing.
Mr. Byrd passed away May 4, 2023, in Harker Heights, Texas. He was born February 1, 1951, in Darlington, South Carolina.
