Memorial service for Retired SFC Albert Ray Hobbs, 75 of Nolanville, TX will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Albert Ray Hobbs was born on October 9, 1946, in Bunnell, Florida to the late Mary Alice Hobbs and Fred Hobbs, Sr. On May 9, 2022, Albert fell asleep in death at Seton Medical Center.
Albert went from being a retired Army Veteran of battling war with men, to later become one of Jehovah's Witness to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and help people learn about his loving heavenly father, Jehovah God. Albert was baptized on January 3, 2015.
Albert married the love of his life Fannie "Dollie" Hobbs on January 27, 1968. Their union blessed them with six children. Albert loved his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He along with his wife fostered many children throughout the years. He loved everyone and never met a stranger. He was known to have that "Papa touch".
Left to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Fannie Hobbs of Nolanville, TX; children, Anita Green (Darryl), Albert K. Hobbs, Regina Smith (Terry), Corey Hobbs, Alton Hobbs, and Diamond Hobbs; brothers, Kenneth Hobbs (Gloria) of Jacksonville, FL, Cleveland Hobbs, George Hobbs, and Anthony Hobbs "Bobby", all of Palatka, FL; sisters, Earlene Lewis (Albert) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Aileen Zanders "Pam" of Palatka, FL, Christine Borden (Joseph) of Jacksonville, FL, Thelma Johnson (Willie T) of Newark, DE, Tereatha Williams (Donald) of Tallahassee, FL, Freddy Hobbs of Albany, GA, Mary Thomas (Clint) of Palatka, FL, and Tammie Johnson of Satsuma, FL; one aunt, Connie Stewart "Aunt Puddin"; nine grandchildren, Chevon, Ryan, Justin, Dametrius, Alisha, Tatyana, Akeiha, Zoe, and Isabella; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
