Funeral service for Mr. Reginald Othella Smith, 51 of Killeen, TX will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, 6:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service (5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Mr. Smit passed away July 10, 2022, in Marion, TX. He was born February 16, 1971, in Fayetteville, NC to Edith Elouise Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by his five children: Corteir Rogers, Xavier Smith-Markham, Xoe Smith-Markham, Kyla Smith, and Elijah Smith; five grandchildren, Massimo Smith-Markham, Mayson Smith-Markham, Lyla Smith-Markham, Liliana Smith-Markham, and Klanee Rogers. Mr. Smith is also survived by his mother, Edith Smith and brother, Derrick Smith.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy and love. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, i savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your head and share with me. God wanted me now; He set me free!
