We come together to celebrate the free spirited, young life of Raymon Jesse Cruz, fondly known as RJ. He tragically passed away on the night of January 23rd, 2025, at home at the young age of 18. He was born on January 7th, 2007.
RJ was a senior at Ellison high school and was on the way to receiving his high school diploma. As he was also accepted to UTI (Universal Technical Institute) as one of his latest accomplishments. He was very ambitious with school and was surrounded by many friends who encouraged him to work harder.
RJ enjoyed playing basketball and football and loved hanging out with friends and family. Raymon made it a point when he walked into a room to share the joy of his laughter and smiles. Always entertaining us with his goofy personality and funny stories. Even with the short time God blessed us with him, RJ made a massive impact on the lives of those he loved. From mending relationships to creating new ones, he never left anyone to suffer and was always one to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable.
Raymon prioritized life and made sure he lived it to its fullest. He had plans to do great things and wanted to spend it with the people he loved and cherished most. Although with heavy hearts and sadness that overwhelms us, we accept that God has called him home. Raymon will live forever in our hearts and the hearts of those he made an impact on.
Left to cherish his memory: parents, Chris San Nicolas; Katrina Mantanona, Peter Cruz; Brittany Jinks, Lance Reyes; Marie Paulino; siblings, Ryan P. Mantanona, Ryah-Leshe M. Mantanona, Ryana D. Mantanona, Peter J. Cruz, Raena-Lenae Cruz, Roshelle M. Cruz, Loyal-T D. Reyes, Patience L. Reyes, Serenity L. San Nicolas; grandparents, Daniel J and Andresina Mantanona, Mary A. Mantanona, Joseph, Minna Ada, Roman, Sherry Taijeron, Lillian Reyes and Pedro Cruz (Beloved); Raymon is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
May he rest in peace.
