Memorial service with Military Honors for Mrs. Pamela Faith Palmer, 48 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.  A  private family interment will be held at a later date.

Pamela Faith Palmer passed away at Baylor Scott and White Hospital on Sunday, August 8, 2021. She was born to Terry Allen and Helen T. Boardman on August 6, 1973 in Louisville, KY.

Raised as a military child, Pamela traveled to various locations with her parents. She graduated from Fort Campbell High School in Fort Campbell, TN.

Pamela enlisted in the United States Air Force on August 13, 1991. She served her country for 7 years receiving an Honorable Discharge. During her service, she received the following Medals and Ribbons: The Outstanding Unit Award with 3 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon, NCO Profession Military Education Graduate Ribbon, and the NATO Medal.

Following her military career, Pamela continued her employment with the Department of the Navy, Army and Veterans Affairs with over 20 years of dedication.

On August 2, 2012, Pamela married Mark C. Palmer in Killeen, TX. They shared numerous wonderful memories during their life together.

Pamela lived in the Central Texas area since 2010 and was a member of the Pink Warriors Association in Killeen, TX.

Pamela was a dedicated, faithful, loving, devoted and protective wife and mother. She will greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Tara Miller.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her husband Mark C. Palmer of Copperas Cove, TX; children, Jarin J. Rice of Colorado, Juwan J. Rice of California, Jyhlil C. Rice, Mark C. Palmer, Jr., and Jeala M. Rice of Copperas Cove, TX; her parents, Terry Allen (Valetta Miller) of Louisville, KY and Helen T.  and Michael Boardman of Copperas Cove, TX; one brother, Toney Williams of Shelbyville, TX; four sisters, Kara M. Boardman of Copperas Cove, TX, Stacie A Flores of Tennessee, Traci L. Perez of Kentucky, and Nikki Adams of Shelbyville, KY and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
