Celebration of life for Mr. Njenga Njoroge, 63 of Killeen, TX will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A family and friends fellowship and dinner will be held at First Baptist Church following the service. Everyone, family, and friends are welcome. The address is 3310 S W S Young Dr. Killeen, TX 76542 Killeen Tx.
Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) at the funeral home.

Njenga Njoroge was born in Kenya to Harrison Njoroge Wanjigi and Freciah Wanjiku Njoroge RIP. Mr. Njoroge passed away August 18, 2023, in Harker Heights, TX.
He went to Karuri Primary School. Then he attended Kanunga Boys High School and moved to finish his High school in Kansas City Missouri. He later attended The School of the Ozarks in Point look out MO, where he studied Aviation. He later moved to Wichita KS, and attended Wichita State University where he earned a BA in History and Political science. He later attended Butler County Community College. There he earned an associate degree in nursing and became a Registered Nurse traveling all over the USA.
God blessed Njenga with 3 beautiful children; his daughter Wanjiku S.Njoroge, Billy Charles Njoroge and Wanjigi Njoroge who all live in Springfield, MO. God blessed Njenga with 4 wonderful Grandchildren. Njenga T. Chatman, Avyon Njoroge, Shalia Wanjiru Njoroge, NJenga Jordan Njoroge, He had a passion for music; he played Guitar and loved to sing. He has a comprehensive discography of recorded music. Njenga loved to travel to Europe, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa. He was very involved in bringing awareness to the struggle of the people of South Africa against Apartheid through his music. Most People know Njenga as a musician.
Njenga also led medical Mission trips to Kenya and did food Ministry Missions in Kenya and South Africa. Njenga also had a food ministry in Killeen Tx., bringing hope to the needy.
Njenga is survived by his 3 children, plus 4 grandchildren; and his siblings; brother Mbugua Njoroge and wife Josephine Njoroge. His sisters Pastor Rosemary Njoroge, Njeri Njoroge, Susan Wamboi Randolph, and brother-in-law Melvin Randolph, his sister Mary Njoroge Thompson. Paul Njoroge RIP. Grace Njoroge RIP. His Niece, Dr. Wanjiku Njoroge Mbugua, nephew Dr. Njoroge Mbugua, Waira Njoroge, Niece Malaika Wanjiku Randolph, Wanjiru Grace Randolph and several other nieces and Nephews here in the US, and in Africa. He will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace. Gone, but will never forgotten.
