Memorial service for Mrs. Naomi Luther 73 of Killeen, TX will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Interment with Airforce honors will be held following the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Naomi Luther was born in New Orleans, LA on October 26, 1950. She passed in Killeen, TX on January 18, 2024.Naomi was 1 of 9 siblings and her favorite place growing up was France. She enjoyed the French Riviera.
She graduated high school in Germany with her classmates dubbed "The Dirty Dozen". Naomi left home and proudly joined the Air Force and served as a flight nurse during the Vietnam War until she was honorably discharged.
She cared for the wounded being transported back to Germany for medical treatment. Later she became a model in Seattle and received a BA in English. After relocating to Utica, NY Naomi was a radio host for the rock station 94k rock. She hosted a television talk show called Look Who's
Talking and was the first black woman on television in Utica. Her last occupation was as an aid for United Cerebral Palsy caring for the disabled. For the last 20 years she has accompanied her husband while he was on active duty in the Army. They traveled to many locations in the US to include a cross country motorcycle trip from California to DC. Her final journey brought her back to many of her family that reside in Killeen, TX.
She is survived by her siblings, her daughter, 3 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews as well as her husband.
