Camille Ramirez, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, family member, and friend, was born on December 27, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late June Bohanen and Robert Bohanen. She was called home on August 31, 2026, in Killeen, Texas, leaving behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and a love that will continue to live on through everyone who knew her.
Camille was truly one of a kind. She was funny, sarcastic, adventurous, creative, loving, and caring. She had a way of bringing joy wherever she went. Her laughter, personality, and ability to make people smile made her presence unforgettable.
Camille was an educated and accomplished woman who valued learning and personal growth. She proudly earned an associate degree, an achievement that reflected her dedication, determination, and commitment to bettering herself and her future. Camille loved to travel and experience new things. She had a special love for candy and could never pass up an opportunity to enjoy her favorite sweet treats.
She treasured family gatherings and loved bringing everyone together. One of her favorite ways to show her creativity was by creating dress trends for her family. Whether they were ready for it or not, Camille always had an idea for how they should look! Her faith was also an important part of her life. Camille loved going to church, and even when she couldn't attend in person, she would make sure to livestream the service. Her relationship with God brought her comfort, strength, and joy. Camille also cherished her friendships. Anytime she had the chance, she loved spending time with her friends, laughing, talking, traveling, and simply enjoying life. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved.
Above all, Camille loved her family. She was the person who helped bring everyone together—the one who kept the family connected, laughing, celebrating, and loving one another. She was the glue to our lives. Her absence will leave a space that can never truly be filled.
Camille leaves behind to cherish her memory are her children, Tristan Bohana, Vanessa Bohana, Joshua Ramirez Bohanen, and Daniel Bohanen; her grandchildren, Treyvione Bohana, Ayalah Bohana, and Daija Bohana; and her siblings, Phillip, Sidney, Cecily, Jolyon, and Ottolie.
She was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Leona, Deidre, Victoria, and Robin, as well as her parents, June Bohanen and Robert Bohanen, and her son, Daniel Bohanen.
Although Camille is no longer physically with us, her love, laughter, creativity, sarcasm, adventurous spirit, and unforgettable personality will continue to live on in her family and friends.
She didn't just walk into people's lives—she became a part of them. Camille was loved deeply, will be missed tremendously, and will never be forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Mom. Until we meet again.
