On October 5, 2026, at age 98, Barbara Jean Miller was promoted to be with the Lord. She was born in Los Angeles, California on March 28, 1928, to parents Richard Clare and Nellie Ethel Hoxworth.

On January 18, 1967, she married Reverend Robert James “Bob” Miller, and she served faithfully as a Pastor’s wife at Faith Temple Church in Killeen, Texas for over 50 years alongside her husband. She served in a support role at Faith Temple as a musician on the church platform. She was loved by all and touched the lives of many people during her service in the ministry.

She loved her family, her church. and most of all she loved Jesus, and she knew how to reach the gates of heaven with her prayers. She is the definition of what it means to be a sweet and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Reverend Bob Miller.

She is survived by her two brothers Rick and Don Hoxworth and their wives Nancy and Beverly Hoxworth; children David and Randy Berry and their wives Lisa and Debbie Berry. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Barbara Jean Miller has finished her race and is in the presence of the Lord and has been reunited with her loved ones who had gone on before her. That Glorious reunion in Heaven can only be imagined. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but she is more alive now than she has ever been in her entire life, resting safe withing the arms of GOD.

Message from her Sons: “Mom, you left a spiritual legacy that is instilled in our hearts and souls. We love you, and we will see you again”.
