Funeral services for Mr. John Frank Paredes, 83 of Bellmead, TX will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, 10:30 a.m. at Pershing Park Baptist Church in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Killeen Memorial Park Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Wednesday September 16, 2026 (4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

John F. Paredes, age 83 from Killeen, Texas, arrived in heaven on September 7, 2026. He was born August 21st 1943 in his house in Belton, Texas to mother and father Juanita and Francisco Paredes.

He was the youngest of 9 sisters and 3 brothers.

John worked as a Senior Construction Inspector for the city of Killeen for 12 years. He also served as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He married wife Anna on March 10th 1962, and they were married for 45 years.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, 1 granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.

He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Kocher and husband Dale Kocher of Anson, TX, daughter Sandra Howard and husband Benny Howard of Waco, TX, daughter Rebecca Campbell of Waco, TX, daughter Patricia Sanford and husband Tommy Sanford of Waynesville, MO. As well as 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
