Our beloved brother, David Glenn Chisolm Jr., entered the loving presence of the Lord on August 6, 2026. David Glenn Chisolm Jr. was born January 20, 1966, in Greenville, TX. to parents David G. Chisolm and Barbara Ann Hayes Chisolm. David accepted Christ at Clark Street Christian Church in Greenville, TX. affirming a faith that guided him throughout his life. He attended Greenville High School and later pursued his passion for cooking and graduated from Culinary School of Virginia.

He was a former member of Clark Street Christian Church in Greenville, Texas under the direction of Reverenced Falkner; he was also a member of Sold Out 4 Christ Ministry under the direction of Pastor Archie Lee Kelly, Jr.

David had a love for cooking and was a certified chef, he was also nominated for Volunteer of the year. David was respectful, loving and friendly. He loved attending family gatherings and showing up for the people he loved. His hobbies included: volunteering, being our honorary family historian, fellowshipping with several different churches, cooking and being surrounded by all music. He was an amazing Big Brother and our beloved brother always wanted to remind us that he was the oldest.

David was preceded in death by his father, David G. Chisolm; mother, Barbara Ann Chisolm; grandparents, L.H. Hayes, Evelyn Ford, Beadie Chisolm, Geroge Chisolm; Aunts, Winnie Faye Anderson, Geraldine Hall, Mollie Coffee, Wadie Chisolm, Suzie Tyler, Henretta Tucker, Juanita Polk, Lois “Sister” Wheeler; uncles, Claxton Hayes, Jimmie Chisolm, Clarence Chisolm, and Wesley Chisolm.
