Funeral service for Mr. Mikeral Wayne Richardson, 68 of Killeen, TX will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Inurnment with military honors will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Mr. Richardson passed away March 7, 2023, in Killeen, TX.

Mikeral Wayne Richardson was born July 22, 1954, in San Francisco, California to Lawrence and Lorene Richardson (Robinson). Mikeral was the firstborn of ten children. His father was in the military, and they traveled the world. His favorite place was Germany. In 1964 his parents settled in Killeen, Texas where he grew up. His father loved to grill, and his mother was the best cook. Everyone loved to eat their food. Mikeral learned from them both and became an excellent cook. He also went to school and became a licensed butcher.

He joined the United States Navy during the Vietnam war and then joined the United States Army. When he came home, he started his landscaping business and did very well.

He met his wife Jeanie Richardson at the Killeen Mall and they have been together ever since.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his life: his wife, Jeanie Richardson; his brothers, Clarence Richardson, Harlen Keith Richardson, Larry Cornell Ricardson, and Mark Richardson; his sisters, Jeanetta "Dell", Shirley, and Ursula Ricardson; his closest friends to the end, Jerry and William Lee; many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; and a host of lifelong friends.
