Graveside service for Mr. Michael J. Hamaker 72 of Lampasas, TX will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton, TX.

Michael passed away February 11, 2026, in Lampasas, TX.

He was born May 14, 1953 in Larochelle, France the son of John William and Johnnie Ruth (Sugg) Hamaker. His father was in the military so Michael moved numerous times as a youth. He continued his love to travel as an adult and had a successful trucking business in Mexico.

He is survived by two sons. both Michael and a brother,Jay Hamaker.

Michael was kind man and was loved by the staff at Caraday Nursing and Rehab and his friends.
