Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Lee Young 66, of Harker Heights, Texas will be held on Wednesday, June 16 2021, 12:00 noon at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Mary Lee Young was born to the late Magnolia Rose Gee on January 6, 1955 in Marlin, Texas. Mary departed for her heavenly home on June 6, 2021. Howard & Sadie McNeil adopted and raised Mary in Rosebud, TX where she attended school and then moved to Killeen, TX where she attended Central Texas College for Hospitality Management. She also assisted the elderly in her home health care business for over 20 years.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Pamela Washington of Little Elm, TX, son, Derrell "Mandel" Gills of Grenada, MS, companion Franklin Brodnax of Harker Heights, TX. She also leaves to cherish her memories brothers, Willie Gee of Mesquite, TX (Quinta Gee), Jamie Gee of Desoto, TX (Crystal Gee), and McKinley Washington of Rosebud, TX. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Young of Killeen, TX, brothers, Columbus Leon Roberson of Dallas, TX, Adolph Gee of Killeen, TX, and Carl Rose of Oakland, CA. She also leaves behind sisters, Ida Washington of Rosebud, TX, Frenchie Hamilton of Dallas, TX, Lula Smith of Dallas, TX (Michael Smith) and Vanessa Gee of Seagoville, TX. Lastly, she leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives/friends to mourn her passing as well.
