Memorial service for Mrs. Mary Lee Smith, 93 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen ,TX.

Mrs. Smith passed away June 24, 2021 in Copperas Cove, TX.

Mary Lee "Muh" Smith passed away on June 24, 2021. Mary Lee was born on November 11, 1927. She lived in New Orleans, Louisiana where she enjoyed hosting holiday events and family parties, which often included friends and neighbors. As a mother of nine, she welcomed the idea that Pauline Drive and 288-9945 were known and loved by many.

In 2005, the events of Hurricane Katrina made it necessary to relocate to Copperas Cove, Texas where she resided until her death.

Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Hilda Washington Penn and Junius Davenport; her husband, Walter Smith, Sr.; a daughter, Sherryl Smith; two sons, Alvin Smith, Sr. and Troy Smith; and her brother, Melvin Roberson.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Deterville, Rhonda Smith, and Monica Smith-Scott; her sons: Walter Smith, Jr. (Cindy), Bruce Smith, Sr. (Miranda) and Alton Smith (Honey); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The memory of Muh will be forever in our hearts.
